Rapper A$AP Rocky Now Face The Potential Of A Guilty Conviction And Years In Prison After Declining The Prosecution's Last Plea Offer Of 180 Days In Jail. Jury Selection For His Trial Started On Tuesday.


Rocky  Is Facing Two Felony Counts In Connection With An Alleged 2021 Incident In Hollywood In Which He Reportedly Opened Fire On A Former Buddy And Musical Colleague Following A Quarrel.

The Rapper Allegedly Fired A Handgun Twice Toward The Alleged Victim During A Disagreement, Leading To Two Charges Of Assault With A Semi-Automatic Firearm Against Him On August 15, 2022. 


After The Judge Imposed An Order Preventing Him From Contacting The Claimed Victim, He Entered A Not Guilty Plea And Was Released On Bond.


George Gascón, the district attorney for Los Angeles County, claims that 


"Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offence that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood," Gascón said in the statement announcing the charges.


The New York rapper could spend up to 24 years behind bars if found guilty.
