 This was revealed by CP Baba Azare, the state commissioner of police, at his first briefing on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the command's headquarters in Ikot Akpan-Abia, the state capital of Uyo..

According to the CP, four state fire department trucks were stolen and transported to Port Harcourt, River State, by some service officials, based on reliable information from a good samaritan.

After the operative sprang into action, it was discovered that the vehicles had been leased to a few international corporations for a three-year starting period at a charge of N140,000 per truck per day.
