On Friday night, January 17, US President-elect Donald Trump declared that his inauguration would take place inside the Capitol rotunda because of the extremely cold weather expected in Washington, D.C., on Monday, January 20.
Trump to move his inauguration indoors on january 20th.
Trump stated he would also like to join the Crowd for the inaugural procession.
He said: “I don’t want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It is dangerous conditions for the tens of thousands of Law Enforcement, First Responders, Police K9s and even horses, and hundreds of thousands of supporters that will be outside for many hours on the 20th (In any event, if you decide to come, dress warmly!.”
