After The Coast Guard In The Eastern Caribbean Nation Responded To A Complaint Of A Vessel Floating Aimlessly In The Water On Wednesday Morning, January 29, Investigators In St. Kitts And Nevis Are Looking Into The Somber Discovery, According To The Royal St. Christopher And Nevis Police Force.

“It Was A Fishing Vessel, Which Is Not Typically Found In The Caribbean,” Royal St. Christopher And Nevis Police Commissioner James Sutton Told The Associated Press.

We Are Not Certain, But We Believe That This Vessel Originated Off The West African Coast.”

The Victims Were All Deceased Before They Reached St. Kitts And Nevis Territorial Waters And Had Been At Sea For An Extended Period Of Time, Police Stated

According To Sutton, Authorities Must First Determine The True Number Of Bodies On Board The Yacht Before Identifying The Remains.

The Cause Of The Mass Killings Will Thereafter Be Investigated By Investigators.

"The Decomposition Of The Bodies Will Make The Difficult Task More Difficult," He Said.

"The RSCNPF Is Making Every Effort To Verify Their Identities And To Comprehend The Events That Resulted In This Regrettable Circumstance," The Agency Said.

The Crime Scene Unit Processed The Location And Identified Some Evidence It Took Into Custody, According To Officials.
