A sex worker stabs a coworker for not giving her a cigarette.

In South Africa, a cigarette quarrel led to a fellow worker stabbing a sex worker. The incident took place at KwaZulu-Natal's Verulam Central Business District on Saturday, February 22, 2025. At around 22:29, members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were summoned to the Ndwedwe Taxi Rank on Ireland Street.

She works as an S3x worker in the Central Business District, according to the officers. A woman who works in the same field as her approached her. A cigarette was demanded by the suspect. After the victim rejected her plea, the two women got into a heated argument. The victim then fled on foot in an unidentified direction after the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed her in the neck. Fortunately, the sufferer lived.
