Speaking about his players before the match against Real Madrid, Pep
"Over the last decade, we have been an incredible machine every three days, otherwise we cannot win six Premier Leagues in seven years and win the incredible trophies that we won.
"We have conceded a lot of goals when, always through our game, we don't concede goals and chances for the opponent and, this season, for the reasons everybody knows, we are there,
"But, at the same time, I will not deny how much trust I have with the players that gave us the incredible decade, winning a lot of things and playing at high standards I know we are capable of."
When questioned about madrid front three pep had this to say
"It's impossible in 90 minutes, 180 minutes or 200 minutes to control these four players [Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham].
"Everybody knows, so I'm not saying anything new - they are exceptional.
"How they combine, the runners, the ability one against one, how they keep the ball.
"All four are exceptional. We have to reduce their involvement as much as possible and know it is going to happen, accept it."
He went further to talk about the danger real Madrid pose.
"I think most teams had problems in terms of injuries during the season.
"I think Madrid handled it much, much better than us because they are still top of the league and fighting against Atletico Madrid who showed again the consistency they have, and Barcelona
"Right now, maybe it's one of the best Barcelona teams... we can compare with all Barcelona teams and still Madrid is the leader.
"They are a huge competitor. In the tough moments, they bring their best - we know it and we have to make two good games to go through."
