- MOST CONSERVATIVE VOTERS BELIEVE KEMI BADENOCH WON’T MAKE A GOOD PRIME MINISTER.
As Kemi Badenoch approaches her 100th day as Tory leader, only one in four Conservative voters think she looks like a prime minister-in-waiting, according to a YouGov poll.
According to the survey, 26% of people who voted Conservative in the 2024 election do not think she would make a good prime minister, while 48% do.
Most Conservative voters in 2024 supported Badenoch, with 56% stating that she is doing a good job as party leader and 17% disagreeing.
A pact between the Conservatives and Reform UK to bring the right together before the next election is a topic of increasing speculation. Alex Burghart, the Duchy of Lancaster's shadow chancellor, refused to rule out such a partnership.
