Prime Minister of the United Kingdom describes Ukraine peace agreement framework as Zelenskyy responds to calls for his resignation.

UK DESCRIBES UKRAINE PEACE AGREEMENT FRAMEWORK 

On Sunday, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer presented a framework for a peace proposal between Russia and Ukraine, although he admitted it is mostly dependent on presumed U.S. cooperation.

During a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday, Starmer shared the concept with French President Emmanuel Macron and other European leaders.

In the case of a peace agreement, Starmer stressed, European nations would have to "step up their own share of the burden" toward providing security assurances for Ukraine.

To make sure Russia doesn't violate a peace deal, the United Kingdom is ready to send air force assets and boots on the ground in Ukraine. He said.

He also stress that the U.S. support would also be crucial to the strategy. Zelenskyy has made it clear that he is still open to negotiating a deal with the White House on rare earth minerals.
